My sister WAS due on April 6 - but had her baby boy on March 27th! Mom and baby are home and doing well! I'll be able to visit them this summer - my daughter is due in a few weeks! It will be very exciting for the cousins to be together!
I wanted to make a onesie card for her. I used a cutfile from Jen C. using Design Studio and the George cartridge. Jen's blog is Brain Things Already.
I used my Cuttlebug and the Seeing Spots embossing folder with Core'dinations Whitewash cardstock. I love how it looks after you emboss and sand it! I used Elegant Edges (can you tell it's one of my favorites?) for the scalloped shape. The stamp is from a Recollections baby set. I popped it up with foam adhesive. The "snaps" on the onesie are some of those flat "stones" that were all the rage a while back. I found mine at Michael's - I think with the floral supplies.
Welcome to my blog! I love my Cricut "baby bug" and will be posting projects I create. Thanks for visiting!

Birthday Cards!
I made a couple of simple cards for both my husband and sister earlier this month.
I used the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge for the scalloped shape. The patterned paper is from the DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Boy mat stack. I used a dollar stamp from Michael's for the bird, and My Pink Stamper's Punnylicious set for the sentiment. The ribbon is from my stash.
My husband's card was very quick! I scrapbook at our kitchen table, and had to find a few minutes when he wasn't around! I used two Cricut cartridges - Elegant Edges for the shape, and Martha Stewart Birthday Cake Art for the Happy Birthday. The patterned paper was from my stash. I used foam adhesive to pop up the shape.
